We are seeking the talents of a highly self-motivated Tools Programmer who enjoys a collaborative and creative work environment. The successful candidate will create and maintain tools necessary for game development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the media team content creators department to design and create new tools based on the changing needs of the project
Provide the Lead Programmer with feedback regarding the time allotted to assigned tasks
Create and maintain documentation of all tools and their usage
Improve existing pipelines and tools to decrease iteration times for content creators
Supervise junior or mid-level programmers as required
Adhere to the project’s coding standards
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills with an interest in working with other game developers in a cooperative team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or relevant work experience
Expertise with the C / C++ and C# / .NET programming languages along with a strong familiarity with OO design principles
3+ years of programming experience in commercial software projects
WPF / MVVM knowledge is an advantage
Ability to work directly with content creators and iterate on the tools efficiently
Self-motivation and ability to drive ideas to completion. Strong ability to quickly learn new areas of development
Proven ability to work well with all game development disciplines
Ability to analyze a situation and communicate the most effective and efficient solution
Communicative knowledge of English
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in UI design and artist workflow
Experience with 3D modeling software such as 3D Studio MAX, Maya, etc.
Multithreading knowledge
In-depth knowledge of game content pipelines at previous projects
Shipped Video Game title
